The following footage shows the effects of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Clip 1 A 30-year-old man was jailed for 12 months after pleading guilty to dangerous driving, drink driving and driving without a license or insurance. He has been banned from driving for three years after which he will have to take an extended driving test. Clip 2 A 26-year-old man was charged with dangerous driving while unfit through drugs and no insurance. He was sentenced to a two year ban with an extended driving test at the end and a 12 month community order. Clip 3 This footage shows a drink driver crashing his car after driving dangerously fast through a built up area. As well as being over the limit, he was also unlicensed and uninsured. Clip 4 The driver of this Ford Mondeo is pulled over by an unmarked police officer after driving erratically at an average speed of 70mph in a 30 zone. A blood sample at the station shows he'd taken amphetamine. He was disqualified from driving for three years and given a drug rehabilitation order lasting six months. Clip 4 The 30-year-old driver of this car was found to have diazepam, morphine, codeine, heroin and methadone in her system and unbelievably was stopped three consecutive nights in a row for driving while unfit. She went to court and was sentenced to nine weeks in prison, which was suspended for two years. She was disqualified from driving for two years and a received a nine month supervision order.
